The Second Millennium’s Ultimate Betrayal: The Heinously Amoral Sellout of Palestine And Its People – by William Hanna

Though it could be argued that
the above headline is an uninformed exaggeration, the fact remains that while
the human species during the second millennium did make considerable progress
in every field of knowledge and technological endeavour, it has to this day
utterly failed to address the political, religious, and social issues that
tolerate — and in some cases actively contribute — to the blatant denial of all
basic democratic principles including the December 1948 Universal Declaration
of Human Rights whose preamble and in Article 1 unequivocally proclaim the
inherent rights of all human beings:
“Disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted
in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent
of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and
freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the
common people . . . All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and
rights.”
Despite the existence of such a
righteous Declaration, a misnomered humanity — still hungover from World War II
and experiencing pangs of conscience over Nazi persecution of the Jews while
forgetting the millions of non-Jews who died stood idly by while armed
Jewish terror gangs ethnically cleansed a record 500 Palestinian towns and
villages and forced the exodus (the heartstring tugging Hollywood film Exodus
was about Jews, not Palestinians) of more than 700,000 unarmed
Palestinian men, women, and children whose barbaric treatment is now referred
to as the Nabka (catastrophe)
Though the Palestinian people
were in no way responsible for the Holocaust — they did not even offer
to fight on the side of the Nazis as did the Zionists (http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Israel/Zionism_AgeDictators.html)
— the freedom worshiping and hypocritical West led by a not so Great Britain,
was prepared to offer Palestine and its people as placatory compensation to
the Zionist cause. So today, after almost seventy years of pernicious,
persistent, and unjust persecution, 7.1 million displaced Palestinians
worldwide remain as the most protracted and largest of any refugee problem.
In the meantime, as Zionist
controlled Western Governments and mainstream media with their  combined
double standards and hypocrisy continue spectating at leisure, the Palestinian
people will continue to be stateless prisoner refugees on their own land and in
adjoining Arab states; continue to be subject to air, sea, and land blockades
that prevent the import of essential foods, medical supplies, and rebuilding
materials; continue to be denied freedom of movement even on Palestinian
designated territories; and continue to exist under the constant threat of yet
another barbaric Israeli military assault like last summer’s Operation
protective Edge in Gaza which also
used them as guinea pigs on which to test new weaponry for Israel’s booming
military trade.
In keeping with Zionism’s
rationale that Palestinian existence impedes Israel’s insatiable requirement
for more land, Palestinians will continue to be ethnically cleansed; will
continue to see their children being systematically detained by the military and
police who subject them to violent physical and verbal abuse, humiliation,
painful restraints, hooding, threats with death, physical violence, and sexual
assault against themselves or members of their family, and denial of access to
food, water, and toilet facilities; and will continue to be subject to
Nazi-style arbitrary arrest, beatings, torture, and indefinite imprisonment
without charges or due process for up to ten or more years without knowledge of
when or if they will ever be released under Israel’s Administrative Detention
Orders.
And as if all that were not
enough, they will continue to be subject to attacks against themselves and
their property — including the burning of their olive groves which are the only
means of livelihood for many — by deranged savages from illegal Israeli
settlements; will continue to have their properties demolished, their resources
including water stolen or deliberately contaminated and have their land
expropriated by a “God’s chosen people” from the “only democracy in the Middle
east”;  will continue to see the area of their occupied lands being
gradually diminished as more and more illegal Jewish settlements are
established; and finally, they will continue to be amazed at how supposedly
civilised societies including Israeli Jews can be witness to all of this and
either do nothing or actually approve of or applaud.
So what does the future hold for
Palestinians now that Benjamin Netanyahu has just snatched victory from the
jaws of defeat by declaring prior to the vote that his re-election would would
ensure against there being a Palestinian state? Netanyahu’s statement was
reported in the mainstream media with some apparent surprise. Surprise? But
why the surprise? Even before its bribed and paid for inception Israel had no
intention of peaceful coexistence with its neighbours; no intention of
honouring UN resolutions or respecting international law including human
rights; and certainly no intention of considering a two state solution.
Furthermore, Netanyahu’s “no Palestinian state” declaration was not the first
by a Jewish leader. David Ben-Gurion, — the primary founder and the first Prime
Minister of Israel  —  believed in the abolition of partition and the
occupation of all of Palestine.
“Take the American declaration of Independence. It
contains no mention of territorial limits. We are not obliged to fix the limits
of the State.”
Moshe Dayan, Jerusalem Post, 08/10/1967.
“The settlement of the Land of Israel is the essence of
Zionism. Without settlement, we will not fulfil Zionism. It’s that simple.”
Yitzhak Shamir, Ma’ariv, 02/21/1997.
“In strategic terms, the settlements (in Judea,
Samaria, and Gaza) are of no importance.” What makes them important, he
added, was that “they constitute an obstacle, an unsurmountable obstacle
to the establishment of an independent Arab State west of the river Jordan.”
Binyamin Begin,
(son of the late Menahem Begin and a prominent voice in the Likud party writing
in 1991, Quoted on page 159 of Findley’s Deliberate Deceptions)
Netanyahu’s re-election makes it
very clear, even to the uninformed and particularly Americans, that the
majority of Israelis share his views and that for decades Israel has gone along
with the “Peace Talks” charade so as to play for more time while pursuing its
Zionist goal of by any means driving out the Palestinians and stealing their
land. There never has been any Israeli intentions for a two-state solution,
for  peace, or for granting legal and human rights to the Palestinian
people. So now as there is no more pretence as to Israeli intentions, let there
be no more hypocrisy, double standards, political correctness, and fear of
being branded an anti-Semite. Instead let there be universal recognition of
what Israel actually is: A lying, cheating, conniving, thieving, murdering,
racist, Apartheid state which has undermined the concept of Western democracy
by resorting to blackmail, bribery, bullying, and unjustified accusations of
“Holocaust denial” or “anti-Semitism” so as to censor and silence criticism of
its international law violations and barbaric crimes against humanity.
The Nuremberg Trials (backed by
the victorious allies) punished Nazis guilty of crimes against the Jewish
people, will the International Criminal Court in the Hague (opposed by Israel
and the USA) have the courage to punish Israelis guilty of crimes against the
Palestinian people?
