I am a victim,
i am a girl…..
i am a victim of gender bias,
unlike my brother, i do not have choices…
i have only a single option.
i am a victim of society,
i do not have freedom to live my life
as i wish….
i am a victim of old conventions,
i can not give voice to my own thoughts.
i am a victim of rituals,
i will bought by a family for dowry…..
somehow my mother escaped me,
when i was attacked in her womb,
still i am killed,
if not physically, then mentally….
