Integrative power of evil: About the so called People of color in the AfD

By
Sami Omar, MiGAZIN,
24 March 2017, English translation by Milena Rampoldi, ProMosaik. About the so
called People of color in the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland – the right-wing
anti-Islamic party Alternative for Germany). Do you know what an oxymoron is? I
have not known it for a long time. It is a word whose two parts oppose to each other contentwise. Love-hate is such a word, exception rule too,
and in my case: school education
!
The logo of the right-wing party “Alternative für Deutschland”
(AFD), arranged by  MiG: “Not an alternative for Germany”

For some
people the fact that the Alternative für Deutschland also have People of color
(PoC) as party members and officials is a contradiction in terms. The
conclusion is the following: they are in the right or wrong party. However, if
the Alternative für Deutschland is the right place for them, how can the party
be still categorised as racist?
I may help in this case. The skin color of a person is a pure externality. We deduct ideological locations and therefore we think that a
black man could not be enough confused to become an AfD member. A big mistake! On the
other hand, the party members are delighted with single  black
Germans joining their party.  The majority
believes in the being German as nature and heritage and can prove their alleged
tolerance (tolerare: endure, bear) through the alleged aliens among them.

According to
the deputy party spokesman of the AfD in Bergisch Gladbach (NRW), Prof. Dr.
Harald Weyel, also the critics of the party should not reduce PoC people to
their skin color. They are neither victims, nor in the first place black, but
simply normal opportunists. For their part, they are tolerant if the AfD
regional boss from Thuringia, Björn Höcke, says: „Broadly speaking, the evolution
has provided Africa and Europe with two different reproduction strategies. In
Africa, however, the so called r-strategy predominates. And it aims at a
possibly high rate of growth. There, the so called propagation type dominates‘.“
Who commits
to the AfD, must also make a statement about such expressions. And he must do
it as party member, not as black or Person of Color. Here the integrative power of evil enfolds. Who credibly represents his own ideology – even if it is
illogical and destructive – has the chance to be one among them who considers
him as an alien and inferior.
To the quite transparent question from the newspaper Die Welt if he is a Nazi or not, the AfD deputy in Bremen, Achille
Demagbo,  answers as follows : “I would never become
part of a xenophobic party. However, let us ask the opposite: Which racist party
would ever elect a black African on its board?”

These are
the typical arguments of people who use their skin color as a mean. People who use them as
justification and people who use them for dissociation. They are called racists.
