A British Example of Pro-Israel Jewish Lobby Domination of Western “Democratic” Governments

by William Hanna, Hiramic Brotherhood, 01 November 2015.

According to a recent report by The Jewish Chronicle,
Labour MP Sir Gerald Kaufman told an audience at a Palestine Return Centre
event that the Government had become more pro-Israel in recent years due to
donations from Jewish groups. Kaufman, a Jew and one of the more Honourable
Members of Parliament since 1970, accused Israel of fabricating some recent
stories about knife attacks against Jews in Israel, and claimed the
Conservative party was influenced by “Jewish money . . . It’s Jewish money,
Jewish donations to the Conservative Party ― as in the general election in May
― support from The Jewish Chronicle, all of those things, bias the
Conservatives . . . There is now a big group of Conservative members of Parliament
who are pro-Israel whatever government does and they are not interested in what
Israel, in what the Israeli government does . . . They’re not interested in the
fact that Palestinians are living a repressed life, and are liable to be shot
at any time. In the last few days alone the Israelis have murdered 52
Palestinians and nobody pays attention and this government doesn’t care.”
Such Pro-Israel Jewish lobby domination is not just
limited to the Houses of Parliament, but also includes the mainstream media
even to the extent that at the BBC ― where the Director of BBC Television,
Danny Cohen, is an ardent supporter of Israel ― there are a set of unwritten
but assiduously adhered to guidelines that govern reporting of the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict:
                * See the Middle East though Israeli
eyes.
                * Treat American and Israeli government
statements as hard news.
                * Ignore the historical context.
                * Avoid the fundamental legal and moral
issues posed by the Israeli occupation.
                * Suppress or minimise news unfavourable
to the Israelis.
                * Muddy the waters when necessary.
                * Credit all Israeli claims, even if
wholly unfounded.
                * Doubt all Palestinian assertions, no
matter how self- evident.
                * Condemn only Palestinian violence.
                * Disgrace the international consensus
supporting Palestinian rights.
                * Fabricate information to start wars.
                * The golden rule that hovers above all
rules: Equate anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism.
Enforcement of BBC reporting guidelines on the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict is ensured by the Jewish BBC Watch organisation
which while claiming to monitor “BBC coverage of Israel for accuracy and
impartiality,” actually both denies the British people of the right to have
access to truthful and important information enabling them “to form adequate
impression about social processes, their essence and importance, about the
situation in the modern world,” and also undermine’s the BBC’s Trust definition
of purpose remit:
“BBC
viewers, listeners and users can rely on the BBC to provide internationally
respected news services to audiences around the world and they can expect the
BBC to keep them in touch with what is going on in the world, giving insight
into the way people live in other countries.”
In the mid-1980s, after having read the works of Lenni
Brenner ― the prominent Jewish civil rights activist and historian ― I was
looking forward to seeing Jim Allen’s play Perdition which acknowledged
Brenner’s work on Zionism’s collaboration with the Nazis and was due to open to
a sellout crowd at London’s Royal Court Theatre. Unfortunately, due to Jewish
lobby pressure and claims that the play was anti-Semitic, Perdition was
withdrawn just hours before its scheduled opening. Consequently the British
people ― of whom millions had died in World Wars resisting oppression and
fighting for freedom ― were forbidden by the Jewish lobby to judge for
themselves the merits of allen’s play. The premise, therefore, that in the West
we are citizens living in democracies is of course preposterous because in
reality we are only subjects of plutocracies dominated by Jewish influence and
wealth. (http://www.wrmea.org/2004-september/book-review-51-documents-zionist-collaboration-with-the-nazis.html
Recognition of the importance of mainstream media
control is not a recent phenomenon, but was in fact initially appreciated by
the Rothschild banking dynasty when by 1914 they had taken control of the three
main European news agencies of Wolff (est. 1849) in Germany, Reuters (est.
1851) in England, and Havas (est. 1835) in France. The Rothschilds then used
Wolff to stir up the German people into a frenzy for a war from which the
Rothschilds as usual benefited while having their name hardly ever mentioned in
the media they controlled.
The insidious influence of the Pro-Israel Jewish lobby
in Britain is replicated in virtually all Western nations with the United
States bearing the main brunt of having its government and mainstream media
being foreign controlled by a nation that not only sucks it dry, but also
inveigles it into fighting  proxy Middle East wars on its behalf. The
powerful influence of the pro-Israel lobby in the United states ― spearheaded
by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) ― is exerted by hundreds
of organisations as is evident from the following partial list:
The decline of U.S. moral authority,
respect for justice, and the loss of democratic principles unfortunately
impacts not only on the United States of America, but also on the rest of the
world. Every time the U.S. sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold. This
American malady is not a new phenomenon, but one that was diagnosed and warned
against back in the mid-sixties by a true American patriot, as opposed to the
lowlifes who now “represent” the American people:
“. .
. America is now at that historical point at which a great nation is in danger
of losing its perspective on what exactly is within the realm of its power and
what is beyond it. Other great nations, reaching this critical juncture, have
aspired to too much, and by overextension of effort have declined and then
fallen . . .
“If
America has a service to perform in the world and I believe it has it is in
large part the service of its own example. In our excessive involvement in the
affairs of other countries, we are not only living off our assets and denying
our own people the proper enjoyment of their resources; we are also denying the
world the example of a free society enjoying its freedom to the fullest. This
is regrettable indeed for a nation that aspires to teach democracy to other
nations, because, as Burke said, “Example is the school of mankind, and they
will learn at no other.”
