Temple Mount: a Detonator for World War III

“The
Temple Institute’s ultimate goal is to see Israel rebuild the holy Temple on
Mount Moriah [Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif] in Jerusalem, in accord with the
Biblical commandments.”
Founded in 1987, the Temple Institute — the most
prominent of some 30 ultra-Orthodox/Zionist organisations vociferously calling
for the rebuilding of the Temple and the reinstatement of ritual sacrifice — is
categoric and uncompromising in stating that its ultimate goal is to rebuild a
“Third Jewish Temple” on Temple Mount — though there is no evidence whatsoever
as to the existence of a “First Temple” — because Judaism regards the Temple
Mount as the place where God chose the Divine Presence to rest:
“Here
am I, and the children the Lord has given me. We are signs and symbols in
Israel from the Lord Almighty, who dwells on Mount Zion”
Isaiah
8:18
Furthermore, according to the rabbinic sages — whose
debates produced the Talmud — it was from here that the world expanded into its
present form and from where the Abrahamic God gathered the dust used to create
Adam, the first man. According Young Earth Creationism (http://influence.99k.org/youngearththeory.htm)
based on the Genesis creation narrative, all of this occurred during a
relatively short period of time somewhere between 5,700  and 10,000 years
ago.
The problem with using Biblical myths to justify or
legitimise religious or political claims of the present, is that such myths are
easily disproved by irrefutable scientific evidence. Scientific consensus, for
example, with backing from a 2006 statement by sixty-eight national and
international academies, asserts that evidence-based fact derived from
observations and experiments in multiple scientific disciplines show that the
universe existed almost 14 billion years ago in an extremely hot and dense state.
It was about that time, according to the Big Bang theory, that the universe
then began to cool and expand towards its present dispersed state with the
earth being formed 4.5 billion years ago and life first appearing no less than
2.5 billion years ago. That self-induced expansion is still ongoing to this day
without any influence or input from some God or Supreme Being.
As for Adam being created on Temple Mount, it is now an
established fact that the evolution of human beings — Homo sapiens — first began
definitely in Africa (either East or South) where archaeological evidence of
our ancestral Y chromosome and mtDNA (mitochondrial DNA) has been discovered.
It must therefore be very disconcerting for white supremacists and other
like-minded people to learn that geneticists have identified groups of
chromosomes called haplogroups — “genetic fingerprints” which define
populations — that trace their ancestral origins to the “subhuman” races of
Africa. The ethnocentric concepts of a God Chosen People, a Master Race, or the
feasibility of producing perfect “Racial Purity” as in the Nazi Lebensborn
breeding programme (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lebensborn),
are therefore unadulterated racist nonsense.
“Everyone
has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right
includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or
in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or
belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.”
Article
18 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
While all individuals have — and quite correctly so —
the right to pursue the religious beliefs of their choice, they have no right
whatsoever to either impose those beliefs on others, or to use such beliefs as
justification for committing crimes against humanity as is the case of
Judaism’s persecution of the Palestinian people. Any suggestion by some Jews
that Judaism is not represented by Israel and therefore Israeli crimes have
nothing to do with Judaism is without doubt disingenuous because Judaism cannot
have it both ways — Israel is either a Jewish state or it is not!
There is no escaping the fact that in the May 14, 1948
The Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_Declaration_of_Independence)
the document categorically defines Israel as a Jewish state. It stresses that the
sovereign authority in Israel is the Jewish people: “This right is the natural
right of the Jewish people to be masters of their own fate, like all other
nations, in their own sovereign state.” It repeatedly uses phrases to emphasise
the point that “Jewish people . . . in its own country,” “Jewish people to
rebuild its national home,” “Jewish state,” “right of the Jewish people to
establish their state,” “Jewish people in the upbuilding of its state,” and
“sovereign Jewish people.” It should be noted that in their infinite holy
wisdom, the Jewish people have decided that the document’s reference to “ .
. . people to be masters of their own fate, like all other nations, in their
own sovereign state,”
is not applicable to the Palestinian people who after
all do not actually “exist,” and if they do, then they are no better than
“beasts.”
Judaism’s intemperate and somewhat unfounded claim to
the Holy Land in general and the Temple Mount in particular, is unfortunately —
to the detriment of hopes for universal peace also up against equally
justified claims by two other Abrahamic religions. The Christian Church of the
Holy Sepulchre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_the_Holy_Sepulchre)
— located within the the walled Old City of Jerusalem — is venerated as the
site of Calvary (Golgotha) where Jesus is said to have been crucified and also
subsequently buried. As also being the alleged site of the resurrection, it has
served as an important Christian pilgrimage destination since the fourth
century.
Temple Mount (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_Mount)
is the current site of three monumental Islamic structures consisting of the
al-Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock, and the Dome of the Chain which have
stood there since 705, 691, and 691 respectively. This Islamic presence on
Temple Mount for more than 1,300 years (far longer than any Judaic structures),
however, does not appear to be a problem for the ultra-Orthodox/Zionist
objective of a Third Temple — even if it means dismantling Islamic structures
and moving them to an alternative site — which is not a recent phenomenon, but
an old one that became a feasible reality following Israel’s unprovoked attack
on its Arab neighbours in 1967 resulting in the annexation of East Jerusalem so
as to make all Jerusalem the undivided capitol of an Apartheid Jewish state of
Israel and thereby facilitate the building of a Third Temple.
This raises the question of the Islamic world’s
reaction to such a scenario and irrespective of all possible Islamic responses,
ultimately there can only be the spectre of a nuclear holocaust on the horizon.
While the political leaderships of all Islamic countries — and particularly the
Arab ones —
have offered the usual meaningless mealy-mouthed
expressions of feigned disapproval over Israel’s treatment of the Palestinian
people, they have on the whole been indifferent to Palestinian suffering. Such
indifference has been ably led by treacherous military dictatorships in Egypt
that for decades have on behalf of Israel been bought off by the U.S. with
substantial annual military aid packages (http://www.state.gov/r/pa/prs/ps/2014/04/225147.htm)
which the pro-Israel lobbying group the American Israel Public Affairs
Committee (AIPAC) with its control of Congress always insists on and gets. (http://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/originals/2014/06/aipac-us-aid-egypt-stop-cut.html).
So while Israel can expect continued Islamic acceptance
of its persecution of Palestinians, it is very doubtful that the same degree of
tolerance would be forthcoming from an estimated 2.08 billion world Muslim
population (http://www.religiouspopulation.com/World/)
in the event of an Israeli ultra-Orthodox/Zionist takeover what is a de facto
Islamic Temple Mount. So How would Israel react if such overwhelming odds were
to become a serious threat? It would react in the same way it was prepared to
do in the 1973 Yom Kippur War:
“Though
the Israeli intelligence system rightly enjoyed an excellent international
reputation, it repeatedly

right up to the last minute missed or ignored every possible indicator that Egypt
was preparing for war. The coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria had
chosen to attack on October 6, 1973 which as the day of Yom Kippur (Day of
Atonement) was the holiest and most solemn day of the year for Jewish people.
Within forty-eight hours of the surprise Arab attack starting, Israel was
staggering and in a desperate position with Syrian forces storming into the
Golan Heights and their tanks taking positions on the hills overlooking the Sea
of Galilee and pre-1967 Israel.
In the south, the Egyptians had sent five infantry and
two armoured divisions across the entire length of the Suez Canal and
penetrated Israeli front-line strongholds. Having initially estimated the
possibility of up to 10,000 fatal casualties for the assault, the Egyptians
lost only 200 men and the canal crossing has since been rated as one of the
best-orchestrated obstacle crossings in history. By October 7, a defending
Israeli regular division had 180 of its 270 tanks destroyed by Egyptian
infantry antitank weapons. On 8 October 1973, the first two Israeli reserve
armoured divisions finally arrived in the Sinai to launch a major
counter-attack against Egyptian positions but one division was badly mauled and
the other apparently indulged in aimless manoeuvres due to confused battle
progress reports.
By the end of fighting on that fateful day the Israeli
forces had suffered what the late Trevor Nevitt Dupuy (1916-1995), a retired
U.S. Army Colonel and prolific author as a noted military historian, described
as
the worst defeat in their history. On that same evening Israeli Defense Minister Moshe
Dayan said to Prime Minister Golda Meir that
the Third Temple [the state of Israel] is going under’. It was probably at that moment that an Israeli decision
was taken to use nuclear weapons.
It is on record that on the following day Golda Meir
was sufficiently concerned to propose travelling to Washington for a
face-to-face meeting with President Nixon but abandoned the idea after being
assured that the U.S. would replenish Israel
s
military hardware. On October 12, Golda Meir stressed the urgency of the
situation in a personal communication to Nixon that stated that Israel would be
forced to use
all available means to ensure national survivalif U.S. military hardware was not immediately
forthcoming. This implicit threat to use nuclear weapons was confirmed years
later by Henry Kissinger to a trusted colleague.”

Bearing in mind the unconscionable ease with which
Western leaders — led by an AIPAC-controlled U.S. government — have unleashed
illegal and still ongoing wars resulting in the death of millions in the Middle
East, you can rest assured that Israel would have even less compunction in
doing likewise. These racist humanity-hating fanatics would quite happily
initiate a nuclear holocaust in order to retain their grasp on their ill-gotten
gains.
“In
everything, we are destroyers — even in the instruments of destruction to which
we turn for relief . . . We Jews, we, the destroyers, will remain the
destroyers for ever. Nothing that you will do will meet our needs and demands.
We will destroy because we want a world of our own.”
